Growth of the firm
Compared to its 14 employees in 1988, Tremblay Group now employs 70 employees. Since 1987, the factory has expanded three times in order to satisfy the large scale projects that are requested by the customers. As well as a workshop of 48 000 square foot, a sandblast workshop and a paint room that can receive pieces of large size allows the firm to take all the projects they can. The reorganization of the workshop, the work station and the equipment permitted a chain assembling process and more effective productivity thanks to movement reduction and the efforts concentrated in a limited workplace area.
